The reason we knew 100% that Craig wasn’t Satoshi was because he was unable to move any of Satoshi’s 1.1M Bitcoin.

If Strategy is buying Bitcoin with debt and selling to shareholders, it is extremely easy to demonstrate you own that Bitcoin by moving at least 1 Sat.

Yes, you still want a full audit and you rely on old world “trust” for many aspects of a companies accounts.

But Bitcoin is better than an audit, at least for assets, because unlike a bank account or any other asset who’s ownership can be forged. Bitcoin ownership cannot be forged. You either hold the keys or you don’t.

I would prefer him to move more than 1 sat, but I know what you mean.

He was not convincing me at the conference.

Not to say they don't have the sats, but yeah, until I can verify, it is an open question. I also don't care too much either, it's just a stock.

We know they don't, because Coinbase custody them.

But you could at least have your own account on the Coinbase system and make a request to sign a document with the associated key or move coins between wallet addresses when requested by shareholders.

The supposed wallets have been identified on chain. But who knows if they really have segregated addresses etc.. The onus lies with Saylor, let's see how it plays out, the share price isn't making the shareholders happy rn.

We may be watching the collapse of a house of cards in real time.

Something happened?

Time to offload my strategy bag before this blows up! 😅

I sold $TRUMP on the way down for a large profit.

We are all guilty of profiting from shitcoins 😂

If his strategy bag turns out hypotheticated, that shock may initially crash the price but should in reality send the price to the moon

*Vaguely waves at Coinbase's wallets*

"Your proof of reserves is somewhere over there"

Fully agree. Same to apply for El Salvador Bitcoin Reserve. We have not seen any proof of ownership.

Agreed

Might not be the best idea from a security standpoint but he could sign his bitcoon aquisition tweets from the address the bitcoin were sent to. 🔥

Please explain the security aspect?

I hear this message with no actual grist behind it.

When Saylor says AI will write a book about it if you ask it, this is deflection. I have seen nothing but deflection so far.

Also this:

Well what I mean is those keys should be in deep cold storage.

Getting them out to sign a message every time you buy bitcoin might be a bad idea.

Agreed, but if you're an Exchange or a Bitcoin only company, that's literally your job.

Unless, that is, you're an exchange that sent Ethereum to a North Korean wallet 😂
