Lucky or not, you gotta play the cards you were dealt to the fullest - otherwise, what's the point?

& I guarantee you my OP is spot on still.

Being salty about bad luck, if it truly is, doesn't help you and is a weak counter to Royas OP.

your argument about judging how people’s aging takes place purely based on how they maintained themselves didn’t count in genetics and the luck of the draw. i am totally for running up whatever you got, but judging how people just based on their actions is incomplete basis for any judgement

how people just age*

Okay now I bet you don't take care of yourself.

The one off genetic bad luck getter doesn't have any merit in this.

why are you trying to add emotions and insults to this?

genetic variety matters in general

No insult, but people tip their situation in their words...

Youre just this guy rn...

you got brought apart with the argument and then moved on to insulting

mature

Haven't insulted you once, but if youre into that stuff I can.

Do you take care of yourself?

Have you taken care of yourself?

How do you know everything is mostly genetic & not epigenetics?

Common sense is being caught by the scientific literature finally, epigenetics determines outcomes more than any other factor.

I really think you are both correct. Organisms are birthed with a set of inherited genetics, AND those genetics are altered by environmental forces through epigenetic mechanisms in a heritable way through their lives. Both Darwin and Lamarck were correct in some ways, incorrect in others. There isn’t a one size fits all solution here. The bottom line is that there is little to be gained evolutionarily by living a long life, particularly if you are female, but also from a procreation perspective if you’re an older male trying to compete with younger suitors. Culture is what creates value in age, and as an older male, I’m thankful!

Genetic variations matter, okay how much of it is epigenetics since birth?

What markers have you turned on or off?

Do you think PoW / decisions don't matter just because you're young?

Like I said, I'll bet the old ones in here clamoring against royas OP are not the ones who's path you'd likely follow.
