Same. I am old. I stopped doing pushups years ago because it began to hurt my wrists. π
Iβm old too. No excuses. If your wrists hurt, do knuckle pushups and/or incline pushups. Letβs go. π

I blame computer gaming for many years. I bought these handle bar things that help with wrist issues. But to be honest I am afraid to do a lot of push ups because of my sternum. It's almost been two years since my surgery, but I have PTSD with my chest still. I don't even like to lay on it or have things rest on it.

Nice. I was doing this for a couple weeks. I stopped because I wanted recovery time. I'm still working out 5-6 days per week, just like to change it up.
Also, the chest muscles are the most useless upper body muscles IMO. I do not often push things where I couldn't just use my legs.

Yeah. I just never really decided I was going to do it. When I do, its as good as done.
I watched a documentary on the Appalachian trail. then after a few beers I decided I would start the next spring. Best 6 month vacation ever. π
