i just read that NWC wasn't possible on iOS because of apple app store bs. :-(

there is no kyc to use primal. I think you are confused about their built in wallet, which uses strike's backend API. they requires minimal KYC.
Now, with NWC you can use any nec compatible wallet, not just their built in strike one.

What is nwc?
Nostr wallet connect. It’s basically a way to connect lightning wallets to things. Not all wallets support NWC but there are a few. Alby does, primal does now, I think coinos does.
If you are on primal iOS, you cannot connect external wallets due to apple’s restrictions. The benefit of NWC is that you can use the same wallet across apps, rather than having unique wallets for each app.
So now KYCed zaps are ok… without considering that in the countries where Strike does not have the license to operate (for example in Italy and in many others), Primal wallet is completely useless considering that it cannot be activated!
YOU CAN USE ANY NWC WALLET WITH PRIMAL WEB OR ANDROID.
