Zaps are such a simple little change. They don’t enable any feature that wasn’t already present in the experience, however placing the option directly on each note / post creates the opportunity to effortlessly send value to the creator of that content with little friction. Value for Value V4V is the way.

i'm new. whats a zap and how come astral seems to be the only plat i can send lightning tips on? seems the others have the heart for a like button but astral doesn't.
Zaps are Bitcoin Lightning Tips. If enabled in your Nostr client you can click a button to instantly send sats to the author of the note as a tip / value for value if you found it useful, amusing, etc.
