Forced close with Zeus. Don’t want to throw another 200k sats at a lightning channel.
Has anyone successfully linked their strike Lightning wallet? I changed the default wallet in #damus to strike but when I did a test zap the sats are still landing in my Zeus Pay address. Any idea how to fix it? nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s or co?
I've noticed when I switch lightning addresses some of the zaps will keep going to the old address sometimes. I think it's from relays storing some outdated info.
this^ you need to broadcast your profile event far and wide.. i typically do this with nak, but maybe some plebs know an easier way. 🤔🏝️

profile looks ok in my view (says strike).. amethyst users that have your profile will faithfully re-broadcast it for you after a while..
there is a spider in #realy that pulls these (and follow/mute/delete/report) events from everywhere, it just scans the db for relays to try and then goes through them randomly and stops after it gets two to work, and repeats that every hour... it is activated by putting an nsec in REALY_SPIDER_KEY (i think that's what it was, just realy help to print the names out... or you can realy env > ~/.config/realy/.env and edit that file to make it stick

I would mostly fix this before with a blastr relay. (After updating the zap address I would update my profile while connected to a blastr relay: it would send the info everywhere) But Mutiny is gone. I don’t know of other blastr relays.

I guess the issue is other relays (that you might have been connected to previously for example) that still have your old info.

That’s what I was missing, ty👑. I did update it and zap still going to my Zeus pay. Need to figure out a way to get the info to update on the relays I’m using (I think).
if you use more than one app/client, check the address on all of them. might not have sync'd properly yet. i get my zaps to my strike wallet so it does work
I've had three channels force close on me before. Don't open channels with people you don't know.

I got forced closed when I ran lightning channels from my phone. It seems you need to keep your phone online all the time. I normally keep my phone on airplane mode at night or when I'm not using it.
I moved to BTCPay on a server and haven't had any issues because it's online 24/7

No. Use WoS TestFlight on Damus. Works so well.
Just don’t put your entire stack in there. It’s like a walk around wallet. If lost maybe you get your license back.
