This isn’t a nostr thing though. You could have written the same sentence and substitute nostr with «social media», «internet» or even «society» and it would mean the same thing. A general social media for everyone will _always_ have culture and ideology crashes.

To be clear, I’m not saying this shit should somehow be censored off of Nostr. Just that I want to be able to use Nostr without having this stuff pop up all the time, and have them show up in my threads when I post about stuff, or be on the relays I choose to use.
I don’t think it’s censorship to be have agency over your own speech and decide who you’re sharing with and talking to.
After going through some of your threads and seeing some of the comments, I can understand your stance more. Some people might say words don't affect them, but even they would admit that seeing that constantly would definitely degrade someone's Nostr experience. It's not even directed at me, and it made me feel worse than before seeing it. Sorry you have to deal with all that hate. I hope you're able to build something that improves your Nostr experience. I feel like others who experience the same level of hate would love using something similar. ReplyGuy isn't even using hate, just spam, and it's killing a lot of people's user experiences. Constant hateful comments does the same. Nostr is for all and people can build what they want no one is forced to use it.

The only engagement needed is to click on the profile to see whether that type of post is a one-off where they got up on the wrong side of the bed, or a pattern of behavior. If it's a pattern, I'll mute the profile and move on. Nothing else.
