I’m pretty sure that you can buy unprocessed basic food in the US too, never was there till now.

In my case 99% supermarkets offer is bullshit. I’m completely on your side. But I don’t think the answer to this is “I only eat meat” and if you think so, I’m fine with it!

I want to eat my apple, melon, berries and all the vegetables. 🤗

It is actually hard to find even basic food in US if you also want to (and should) avoid pesticides, glyphosate, hormones, genetically modified etc.

You’re free to do what you want. Careful deluding yourself into thinking vegetables are anything other than poison, even if grown organically in your backyard.

Do you feel the same way about fruit?

Generally speaking youtube fruitarians tend to be the least healthy looking of the diet people online. Vegans and vegetarians are often bloated to different degrees, but seem a bit less likely to completely waste away or have their teeth rot out.

Fat is an essential nutrient, and even if they get enough, vegans and vegetarians (to a lesser degree if they use butter and ghee for everything) it is likely coming from seed oils (machine oils), which are a virtually guaranteed way to bring about disease by degenerating the body at a cellular level.

Fruit evolved to be eaten in order to spread seeds. Eating them usually does not harm the plant.

Eating vegetables usually kills the plant, so they have an evolutionary incentive to discourage us from eating them (toxins). We have lost the ability to digest cellulose like our primate ancestors could, so we’re able to realize very little nutritional value in most vegetables (and we’re breeding them for looks instead of that nutritional value)

I agree with all that, but fruit 1) is highly modified by human domestication and 2) doesn't necessarily want what's best for the host animal

Eat what ever you like. But do you really need excuse for your preferences? Don’t think so!

So for everyone here in the thread stop talking bullshit, eat what you like and everything is fine. I don’t want to hear cheap excuses why x is better than y. I eat what I like and I know the facts! Eating isn’t an easy topic I know.

Just eating meat is definitely not the answer, because there was never a period in history humans had just meat.

I’m out 🫳🎤

It’s not cheap excuses, it’s scientific studies and evolutionary biology but go off king

If you eat those organic and in-season (I certainly do) they can be enjoyable but nothing feeds your brain and entire body better than animal fat

Yes Finding good stuff is possible in the US grocery stores however extra work is required as with all good things.

Avoid the center aisles and instead go by mostly walls or corners where the better stuff is.
