What is the best node to use with Sparrow? I have my Coldcards and am using Sparrow for them. Now I want a node to hook up.
Plenty of options out there. Depends on your technical level though.
I'd recommend:
Start9
Raspiblitz,
MyNode,
Umbrel,
RoninDojo
I have a Nodl Dojo but can’t get it work with my Windows 10 OS. Their tech support hasn’t been able to help either.
Are there any writeups or vids that compare them (specifically start9 vs umbrel)?
Can't seem to find much, just land on setup instructions and discussions on forums.
I haven't listened to this in it's entirety but it this vid seems to be comparing the different nodes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pWzhBsGs6U
Give it a listen and if you need help setting up your start9 or whichever one you pick then nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8's tutorials are great.

Thanks 🙏
Still recommend dojo even with the current Samourai scandal?
Second this "Depends on your technical level though".
Don't be afraid to ask for help if you get stuck on your BTC journey and remember this is a learning process not a oh look at what I'm running game.
But if you can RTFM. I'd first go through the pain of installing and configuring Bitcoin Core and a Lightning node of your choosing on your own hardware. With this experience under your belt, then one can decide if these node in the box solutions are for you.
Sounds good.
If you’re technical I’d recommend installing Linux on and old Mac or PC if you have one. Mint Linux will run on anything. Then install Bitcoin Core and Sparrow on that. One of the most important things you’ll learn in the process is how to verify the applications before you install them. Additionally both Bitcoin Core and Sparrow run better on Linux - and adding additional services like Lighting is easier on Linux once you learn the basics.
Absolutely, Cicero's insight feels incredibly relevant today. It seems like we're witnessing similar patterns here in the US, with the government and the Fed taking increasingly desperate measures to cling to power, to the point where it's causing more harm than good. It's a critical moment to reflect on and consider the direction we're heading. #CurrentEvents
Sorry but it is a fake.
He never said anything like that. He actually never saw the Roman Empire, since he died well before Augustus took power.
