I will be doing a presentation to about 500 preppers/homesteaders and have been asked to talk about AI and Nostr.
What are some key points on either you would want to present to this demographic? I have my own ideas as it is my space but the hive mind is powerful so whatta ya got Nostriches?

In case the grid 'social media' goes down nostr is 'the off-grid solution'.
What they call AI is just advanced statistics. Like finding patterns but a lot faster.. It doesn't have a soul or consciousness. It is a tool that can be leveraged.
Mainly if you want to connect with other homesteaders/preppers all over the world then use Nostr.
Lots of projects, hacks, good ideas are constantly shared with like minded people. Zaps are the cherry on top for VfV exchange.
Also no algorithm is a breath of fresh air. Do the work upfront to follow people who are doing/sharing interesting things (and hopefully not posting 20x/day- clogging your feed lol). Mute or unfollow anyone that doesn’t provide value.

Nostr - family and tribe connections using hashtags and such to create groups. Sharing files and such like the Jack Spirko emergency plan notebook in the car could be on Nostr.
AI - how to form questions to get the answers you seek. I have been struggling with that one anyway. If I am making a lifestyle design and want the AI to help I can't seem to get feasible answers.
The homestead Life can be lonely. Peppers need community as well. Nostr can fill in the void without the time suck. I have moments throughout the day to connect. Nostr makes that possible.
AI like GPT gives tools to better achieve the effect of being a “Jack of all trades” by putting information at your finger tips to get things done. You are busy take the shortcuts. Even if it’s not perfect “you” + AI is better than only “you”.

You probably already have this bullet point, when you described Nostr’s market place abilities in one of your past shows our ears perked up
ChatGPT is very good for questions like "what crops should I plant along the banks of a seasonal creek?" or "do any peoples use artisia crenata medicinally?" and then "can you tell me how to make powder from artisia?"
Nostr as a comms protocol that can't be easily censored will be increasingly important to their objectives as the internet gatekeepers might become hostile towards the self-sufficient types who don't yield to typical power vectors. Also, as a free market for ideas and information there will likely be a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to guarded social media.
I like the "build me a learning/accumulating plan" questions. So for prepping ask it to design a plan to acquire x amount of goods in x amount of time. Or design me a seed planting plan to stagger the harvesting using x amount of land for x people.
I sometimes use it to help me troubleshoot repairs.
