I love mine as well but there’s always that tense moment where you’re pressing it down and if your cup isn’t stable you feel like it might slip and spray glass and boiling hot coffee everywhere.
Mine came with a hexagon funnel that would help in that case. They also sell a carafe that fits with the AeroPress for that.
I push on top of a medium size clay cup sitting on a rubber mat (like the ones you’ll see at a bar) to contain spills.

I've always opted for the upside down brew method with aero press. Get all your ratios in, stir it, cap it, flip it, press it. ☕
