Self-custodial zapping works well with Alby Hub running on my home server and even moved my wife over as a subaccount without issues. Alby sunsetting their custodial wallet solution was the last push I needed to run my own node. I've been thinking about the same setup for nostr zaps. Can you generate a LN address through alby hub if self hosted?

You can use the getalby.com lightning address. just hook up your alby hub to an alby account. Works well with the LN address, the extension, etc.
