I created a new wallet and saved it as a PWA. When I checked just now before funding it, it have a different 12 words.

If you created the browser wallet before the pwa they are not the same, I saw documentation of that on the GitHub link sent with the test pilot invite.

I do not like this and it will definitely fuck newbs up.

that is sus

So, will it let me restore the original phrase or do I have to scrap that and use the new one?

Were you in private browsing?

No, PWAs and Safari don’t share storage.

This is a function of iOS and Mobile Safari, not Mutiny. Safari and PWAs each have discrete local storage.

Got it, so if I’m going to use it as a PWA, I should just save the new phrase but keep the old one just for shits and giggles.

Whichever pass phrase was created in the PWA is the “correct” one, yes.

Gotcha. If I upgrade phones or accidentally delete the app shortcut does it currently let you restore?

There's restore in the settings, will restore onchain and lightning

Thanks, I’m just making sure to kick all the tires carefully before my roadtrip.

If you're on iPhone pwa and safari share different storage

So should I scrap the original phrase and use the new one? I think it said something about not having seed restore functionality yet.

We have full restore functionality. Can use either.

Thanks!
