Good morning nostr, i love love our woodstove. Its 33F outside, but in the house its a cozy 74 with only the woodstove going. We just got our new hvac system, but havent had to start the heater yet. Our hvac system is much more critical during our long, brutal summers.

So today we have errands in the morning, then just the usual chores. I need to start doing some trail trimming again, maybe i'll start on that. But coffee first. Yall have a great wednesday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart. #coffeechain #grownostr #homesteadibg https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/8d9d2b77930ee54ec3e46faf774ddd041dbb4e4aa35ad47c025884a286dd65fa/cb29373615fa369ab55046d6783f318374b144686b4f9bbb9e24e75231922187.webp

GM, did yall figure out what happened to the bunny?

No, unfortunately not. But we just discovered some new babies, so he left us with a parting gift. We've had the game cam in the run at night, but dont see anything unusual.

Good morning Maria.

It’s 74 outside AND inside here…

It’ll be 37Β° for the low tonight though.

Maybe a little fire pit action tonight if I can get the family on board πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Fire pits are always a fun way to spend the evening.😊

GM Maria, woodstove rolling in the camper here too. We Love our Cubic Mini Woodstove. Have never used the propane heater in this rig. Have a great day.

Hard to beat wood heat, for sure. Are you still in TN?

Yes. We have a driveway set to go to a build site, then post frame building after that. We will finish that for living quarters while we are working on this property and hopefully repeat the process on new properties as we go.

Currently have 2 small cabins on site and starting the planning for our first actual workshop on the property.

We have had 2 "work days/community building" events so far.

Nice! Glad you are somewhere with lots of other likeminded folks.

I love spending time in front of my woodstove.

Our HVAC is just backup for our wood/coal stove (It kicks in during the early morning hours when the stove has nearly burned out). I love the cozy fire heat.

Our home is big enough that wood alone won't keep the house warm, but burning coal will. It is so much cheaper than the trucked in propane that is our other option.

It’s been years and it still makes me happy every time I think of it.
