Here is a sample of how society has become tremendously idiot.

Everyone recording the entrance of the new year, no hugs, no kisses, still recording...The same happens in any concert or event...

Personally I don't like photos, I'm not Brad Pitt 😂, and I rarely look at photos of the past, I would say never, I prefer to enjoy the moment.

And nobody of them really liked the recording anyway

I.m.o they don't live the moment but record it for later.

Reminds me of tourists rushing from location to location taking picd to reflect only at home about the trip instead of enjoying every minute while there.

Sheeps without wool but brain harvested.

Collectively programming the A.I Cthulhu

😂😂

once upon a time people would hold lighters up like that lol

There is an unsettling feeling watching this. Its like the invasion of the body snatchers or something lol

I'm the same, prefer to record it in my mind even if my memory is shit. Just be in the moment.

💯🎯

🤳😅

Good for you.

No google photo services and all that stuff.

These companies know to much.

Yup.

what a bunch of retards. 🤦‍♂️

Not to mention absolutely no one will watch the shit they record. Odd.

IT IS QUITE DISHEARTENING BUT HOPE REMAINS WITH THE FEW WHO SEE THE PROBLEM.

Everyone only cares about the likes now because they’re all influencers

this take is tremendously ironic, bro complains about tech, while posting on tech, to do fud on tech. video enjoyers don't even think about people with this silly take on situations.

It's not ironic though, as it's not a similar situation.

Presumably, nostr:npub1lnms53w04qt742qnhxag5d6awy7nz6055flnmjkr6jg39hm86dlq7arrnt is using the tech while.. using the tech.

Whereas the people depicted above are using the tech to the detriment of the full enjoyment of the present moment.

Which is all we ever had, have, or will have.

Presumably that pattern is recurrent in their lives.

Therefore, presumably, they are wasting prodigious amounts of time being distracted.

No harm in pointing that out. May it serve as a warning to others, and as a message to the future: some of us saw it for what it was.

For me, when being in the middle of such a crowd, the reaction of the whole crowd is EVERYTHING, it's so much more important than all the eyecandy combined.

what a sick world

Technology has become a new form of spirituality for them. We used to use candles for this, then lighters, now smartphones. Like a candle that can be replayed to bring back a memory after the event, an augmented candle.

They feel united by the act of capturing the moment in a thousand different ways with something that emits light. It is indeed some kind of magic.

We will need to connect faster and better among us, freedom lovers, if we want to offer to them an alternative to get out of the Matrix. A new way to a better spirituality.

Is this proof that digital world is now more important to people than physical world?

Thats stupidy, nobody will watch this later.
