Nostr's minimalism is an antidote to the excesses of design enthusiasts.
Discussion
Did you try nostrgram? š
Nostr is the protocol š¦¦
Ok, so minimal compared to what?
I find nostr to be already better and having more features than other social networks⦠and we keep having more NIPs.
Minimalist in the sense that the protocol is the simplest thing that could work. Simplest is of course relative, but most devs would argue itās pretty simple.
Through iteration Nostr arrives to the solution that users need, which is always evolving. Nostr merely evolves along at a similar pace.
Maybe the āminimalismā in the protocol is a thing the devs can appreciate.
For me, as an user, I only can interact with the protocol through its clients.
Because from what I see, feature-wise, I think nostr is more complete than other social networksā¦
Zaps. Invoices. Self-verification. Relays management. Nests. Long-form. Etc.
Which leads to having options between āminimalistsā and āmaximalistsā clients, and thatās a good thing. š
I agree with you. Itās impressive how much can be done with Nostr!
couldn't agree more, simpler is eyebleach nowadays
Itās all about clean functional design and leaving UX alone after the point when it does what its suppose to do.
All of the constant interface UX changes on mainstream apps drive me nuts, leave it alone!
