We did homeschool till our kids hit high school then gave them a choice.
They chose brick and mortar.
But, we live in a small rural town with strong morals that actually teaches horticulture, finances, and doesn’t subscribe to the wildness that is…
Well…
Everywhere else. Small town, strong morals, and great schools still exist. They are the minority. That’s the first thing we looked for when we bought our home.
Hell, 3 of my neighbors that live on my road work there and they are the greatest people. It’s a tight community.
My two oldest did public school the whole way but this youngest has proven he's too much for the teachers here. I wish I had been able to do the same thing for the two older ones but they still turned out pretty good.
That speaks volumes about your parenting.
When your kids buck off the barrage of outside influences and are able to take what you instilled in them value and morality wise, and come out happy and productive members of society…That wasn’t the school.
