When I’m not traveling back and forth from Michigan to Illinois, sometimes….
Sometimes ya just need some tasty tunes, tasty drinks, and pure masculinity.
Why can’t they build em like this anymore?
Nothing wrong with chemical/solvent extraction when in the right hands. Post processing is just as important as pre and general processing. Rosin has its health drawbacks (look up lipid pneumonia). That’s why I mechanically “winterize” my rosin now.
Chemistry takes time and can’t be rushed. I’ll take an extra two days of post processing to ensure the cleanest product.
I’m currently working in Illinois working and just built out an ethanol and hash/rosin extraction lab. . CO2 is next on my list of implementation. Terp pulls are superior to alkanes or hydrocarbons. Dial it in and you can make some awesome products. There’s not 1 system out there that’s turnkey that I won’t make some tweaks to.
There was a company that made a small 1lb system. The name escapes me now but, you can find em on eBay rather cheap.
Just look for what you want to pull (alkaloids, polysaccharides, esters, alcohols) and look at the solubility for that particular molecule. Not all are water soluble.
Hey nostr:npub1xr7t5h0l25ej73pm04zgz9afeexyzsjx67s5v0xxf2sshjn4sx6sep2gqh As you expose all the corruption in a political/entertainment world, I’ll expose the food/agricultural industry with how the USDA and FDA are bought and paid for by the global conglomerates that poison our food.
How when a food additive is banned, it’s simply renamed. Or how a new “ingredient” that’s considered GRAS (generally regarded as safe), when ingested, breaks down into byproducts that are slowly killing us.
Or an “approved pesticide” was actually developed by Monsanto that is 1 hydrogen chain away from a form of arsenics chiral counterpart (what’s the H in H20 stand for?).
All backed by independent studies done by scientists and chemists on their own dimes that keep being suppressed and buried. Some even being sued.

Carbon is GREAT for soil amendment.
That speaks volumes about your parenting.
When your kids buck off the barrage of outside influences and are able to take what you instilled in them value and morality wise, and come out happy and productive members of society…That wasn’t the school.
That was you 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
We did homeschool till our kids hit high school then gave them a choice.
They chose brick and mortar.
But, we live in a small rural town with strong morals that actually teaches horticulture, finances, and doesn’t subscribe to the wildness that is…
Well…
Everywhere else. Small town, strong morals, and great schools still exist. They are the minority. That’s the first thing we looked for when we bought our home.
Hell, 3 of my neighbors that live on my road work there and they are the greatest people. It’s a tight community.
Now, outside of cannabis…
A food grade alcohol or boiling water (depending on alkaloids and other molecules you’re wanting to achieve) are for most of the botanicals that you find in the wild.
There are sooo many. I really don’t have a favorite per se. It honestly depends on the sole purpose of the application. I have a background in organic chemistry and chemical engineering so Ive extracted in ways that are. not traditional extraction methods. My wife has her bachelors in Science of nursing with a minor in biometrics so she understands how the body reacts with each constituent of the plant.
But, I can say this…
Rosin is probably my fav. Chemical/solvent extraction can be refined to hide a bad, or otherwise, sub par starting materials, rosin requires the starting material to be perfected to get perfect rosin. It’s literally an art form.
And all from ice water hash, many different types of final products can be made. All intended the way Mother Nature intended…
Natural.

Now with that outta the way….
Drop a follow and I’ll be sure to keep your attention through knowledge, empowerment , and shenanigans.
Probably more shenanagins.
As with all new things. With the societal shift we are seeing, I would love to be able to share again and giving people the ability to take back what’s rightfully theirs.
Their freedom to make informed decisions.
The one thing about social media I hated was the censorship’s (and all the complaining). I had 2 successful homesteading accounts where I shared knowledge on self healing, hunting, living off grid, bartering, crop steering, permaculture, cooking, etc. that were shutdown for “violating TOS”. People reporting my vids because “hunting is unethical” or “ solar is a gimmick”. The cannabis and herbal extraction vids were toast inside 24 hours.
I gave up. I deleted everything but X and just stayed silent.
I’m thinking this may be the place to start over again.
Should I bust out all my gear and let ‘er rip again? What do those of you on nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg and #NOSTR think?
As it should be. Too much division.
There is strength in numbers💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I started outdoor in ‘94 when I was 16 and slowly ramped to outdoor by mid 2000.
Still love me some outdoor though.
