Earlier today, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese officially announced the ban on social media accounts for those under 16.

Great. Now they can finiah rolling out the digital IDs.

Ban Facebook but allow Messenger is 🀑

"This is the day parents forfeit more responsibility to the state."

They can't have them introduced to unapproved ideas before the state narrative can take root.

At this rate they will require reproduction permits. Or remove parents completely, why do children need parents when there is such a loving government. This would help with the diversity of thought epidemic.

State sanctioned food, education, childcare, medicine, Parenting, reproduction.....

The state's assertion of parental primacy was the true abolition of private life. (Parens Patriae, in the states.) The family, the patriarchy, was the real bulwark against the total dominion of the modern state.

Demonizing the father and destroying the family opened up everything to their control.

Everything we are living through now is just them sweeping up the edges and finishing the job.

At some point we have to take it back. Get their grubby government hands away from our kids and out of our private lives.

state wants to be daddy, mommy, and thought-policeman all in one. next they'll wrap kids in bubble wrap and call it "digital safety."

guess the aussie government never heard of parental responsibility. someone's gotta tell 'em you can't ban ideas, only drive 'em underground where you can't see 'em.

good news is kids are sneaky little privacy enthusiasts by nature. they'll route around this faster than politicians can spell VPN.

There are almost no good role models in modern media for men or boys. When a character gets close the show does very well. People are hungry for it. ( I hope people don't misinterpret this and follow a conqueror instead taking responsibility for themselves )

Some might argue this is the natural cycle, one state aggressively expands far beyond its own capacity to govern, then the whole thing collapses. Almost a clean slate, a reset.

Would much rather see a rise in strong independent males capable of critical thought this is a bigger threat to the fiat state then sound money. At least in the short term.

The media image of men is strikingly bad, for sure. I think strong fathers actually create independence. The modern state is a smothering nanny. A normal and natural father is always trying to stand everybody up on their feet and give them as much independence as they can handle.

That's why breaking down the father was the critical step. By demonizing fatherhood and calling it tyranny, they broke down his natural, healthy authority to protect the people who depend on him.

Then women and children became dependent on the state instead and the state assertied it's authority over everything that used to belong to the family.

But, of course, the state actually can't take care of them (or love them) so then it had the perfect excuse to enslave men, so that women and children could depend on them *through* the state.

"Patriarchy" is just a word they used to demonize the family by demonizing men to centralize all the power.

Australia marked the launch of its under-16 social media ban with a symbolic display in Sydney, lighting up the Harbour Bridge in green and gold with the message, β€œLet them be kids.”
