Christianity and Anarchism

The Bible is the most anarchist libertarian book in history.

Jesus' teachings emphasize divine authority over the state, since Jesus and Christians answer only to God, not to the state, and show distrust of political power. Biblical stories show the danger of centralized power and oppression.

The Bible also teaches the value of work, the legitimacy of private property, and the wisdom of saving.

The teachings of the Bible clash head-on with institutions such as the Catholic Church. God is born in you; God is not born of any institution. You do not need anyone between you and God.

Unfortunately, I believe that few have read the Bible, which has inspired great anarchists.
