i haven't been keeping count of how long it's been since i stopped drinking coffee but i'm still sooooo slooooww lol. gotta keep it up tho. i now get pain when i drink it regularly, and it's been pleasant not feeling that pain. just not so pleasant feeling half asleep and unable to think very well.

It's a tough addiction to break, isn't it? I managed 48 hours the other day and felt sluggish, lethargic and my brain didn't want to function
pesticides in coffee are inflammatory, IMHO
there's also nasty fungi that grow on the beans too.

Yeah, and processing beans likely promotes fungi growth, then one can imagine what it would be used as the fungicide, and left as the residue — QACs.
Unsure how much of it can survive roasting, but it's likely introduced again, further down the production process, because of its use to disinfect surfaces, and manufacturing equipment.
Don't get me wrong. While I'm writing it, I often reach for my first cup of coffee. 😏
I have to bee careful though and not to switch into preaching mode too often. Justr throwing ideas here. 🙄
What about tea bro? I love tea and drink often. Although I drink coffee too but not that often.
Come back to the dark side. ☕
I have a theory... Now hear me out... I know its crazy, but I think I'm on to something... Okay. Big breath. If... If you sleep when you're tired... You won't be tired anymore. Maybe. Idk.
Well anyways, its really good that you did that. Coffee is bad for kidneys. I need to quit too.
idk what is up with it, whether it's the mushy soft memory foam mattress or the stopping alcohol or what but i'm getting all muscle pain all over especially in my lower back trying to sleep, and my cat is waking me up frequently so much that i have started to kick him outside at night. waking up tired as fuck
probably still some time to go before my adrenals wake up again.
Cats are super tuned to their chosen human - he's probably worried about you. Do you have a small pillow you can put under your lower back? If your spine is too straight, you'll get pain in the lower back. I've stopped sleeping on mattresses or mushy things. Just a little pillow for lower back and a nice hard floor - it has helped.
It might not be caused by sleep, though. Have you had a blood test recently? And are you drinking enough water?
probably not drinking enough water yeah. this is a common issue from long term frequent alcohol and caffeine use.
i might try finding something i can use to raise my lower back. i possibly could even just put a single slat across under the mattress that stops it sagging as a whole thing and holds my lower back up
yeah, idk actually lol, it's only like 6" thick but underneath is an actually quite rigid surface it sits on. just probably need to do the support under my back thing. it really disturbs my sleep. gonna try and stay hydrated tho
