i'm force closing those channels
i've seen this story before and i'd rather wait a week or two, while being confident that i will see it come back, but if they come online and something is wrong with their system now, that could be a worse problem
The more and more I have to work with lightning. The less I want to have it as my only payment option on Nostr. On-chain bitcoin is far superior and Nostr developers need to recognize that this technology is neither stable, or desirable for any serious content creators on this platform.

Well, the good news about Lightning is that every self-hosted Lightning wallet comes with an on-chain wallet, so everyone who uses it has both. You just have to DM them and ask for an address, or something. That workflow could be more automated over Nostr or over Alby Hub or something.
Lightning is still the better-choice for anything under 10k sats, IMO, because of speed and fees.
