Do you answer all replies? If not, what are the primary reasons?
For me:
1. Didn’t see your reply
2. Read it but don’t have anything to add
3. Read it but don’t agree at all. But I won’t reply because I know it won’t lead to any productive conversation.
4. Read it, but have no idea what it means or how it relates to anything I said.
I don't answer "GM" replies to my "GM" note 🙃
Same. I just like them as acknowledgment.
I try to answer all of them. I rarely pass if the reply is plain stupid. 🤪

if I don't reply I at least will react to it to show it was seen.
I'm not some influencer or anything. so, any amount of engagement I get, I try to re-engage if worth it.
I try to reply to everyone, also since it's not I get overwhelmed by comments like some big names so, not a big issue.
But yeah there are case I don't, most of time because of n.4 and n.3
Noticed sometimes I don't see a comment as not all the jote are shown in the same way on any client.
Read it and know it’s toxic so I don’t engage.
I don't always answer the replies, but I always do a reaction. I tend to reserve replies for when I actually have something to say, and not just for the sake of it.
All cases happen to a greater or lesser extent. Not just for your posts. In general, the difficulty arises because the native language is different and technical issues are not yet understood.
Mostly react to replies I have no response to because of reasons 2-4. 1. Only happens when they reply to another reply not me directly, in which case, I don't have a good mechanism because I am not going to search threads for user error.
These are the same reasons for me. 2 I would usually at least react to as an acknowledgment that I’ve seen it. 3 I would react to in some cases depending on if I felt it was a well intentioned comment rather than someone just trying to be argumentative (which I really haven’t experienced much).
5. I can’t face going to my notifications as I’ll never find my way back to where I am in the timeline and I’ve already got PTSD from repeatedly scrolling past the same posts 42 times
I always try to reply even If i don't want to. I'm already avoiding conversations IRL and Nostr doesn't allow such behavior at the protocol level 👷🏽♀️
