Self custody, privacy and no KYC are my guiding stars.
Much less interested in ngu and adoption if we have to compromise on these principles.
If my takes turn out to be regarded and wrong just know my heart was in the right place 🙏

I don't think Lightning is a dead end, but I do agree that normies should NOT try to self custody Lightning on their own nodes, because channel and liquidity management is a bitch.
Custodial Lightning wallets for non tech folk is fine, as long as it stays free and open for anyone to operate a lightning node. Unfortunately the state seems bent on fighting Custodial lightning providers and forcing them to do KYC.
This resonates deeply.
Almost ALL of my stacking is KYC.
My self custody needs more improvement. It's a continuum, but BOTH of these are 2024 priorities to fix/improve.
