Constantly moving forward, the devs do not seem to be in competition, but are more so working together. Moving towards the same goal. The fact that we saw several devs of different clients sitting together on stage at nostrica bouncing ideas off each other, is pretty damn bullish to me.

Man. Reading Mandibles recently got me spooked. If we really are moving through a fourth turning and things get really ugly, having an unstoppable, censorship-resistant communications protocol will be essential to coordinate and rebuild in the aftermath. I genuinely hope that day never comes, but nostr is 100% the first place I’d go if it ever does.
I’m bullish because it’s plenty of use cases that are yet to be discovered.
I was just explaining Nostr to a friend of mine that wanted to create an app for musicians to Connect with their followers and he wanted to leverage existing tools .. when he learned about Nostr and how this could be used in his platform I realized that there is so much potential beyond the twitter type for all of us
Lack of KYC, no algo, zaps encourage actually good and appreciated content with it’s “value for value” system.
Constant and direct communication between users and devs, quick updates.

just as bitcoin breaks fiat seigniorage by distributing purchasing power to holders, so nostr breaks the gains to network owners by distributing the network effect dividend to those who provide value to the network. this incentivizes all manner of innovation, possibly to the point that bootstrapping is PoW that eliminates the need for VC's
It’s the first digital space where human communication and connection is truly free to flourish and become whatever it is in “nature”
Nostr is open source and decentralized. It flips the client/server model and places the user in full control. It generates its an open marketplace for the exchange of ideas and technology that can build upon itself. It evolves with all those who wish to participate and allows value exchange without an intermediary.
