You just opened my eyes up to a whole new world to explore….these shots are mesmerizing.
And if you want to get into Jodorowski, the one I tend to show people first, because it's weird but also exciting and gets you a taste of his poetic imagery, while at the same time I'd most accessible because it's usually free somewhere online.
Santa Sangre (1989)
A film obsessed with arms. From a cult that worships a dead underage prostitute who was armless and wear the symbol of her arms on their chest, to anarmless interpretive dancer who's son has special made clothes so he can be her arms unseen during performances.

The fifth element and Heavy Metal (1981) are basically the same movie. 🤷🏽
