This is a great comment. I keep seeing examples like Obsidian in which "normies" which are supposed to be completely dumb and useless creatures, manage to learn how to use software that isn't just clicking a single button many times, and yet the UX specialists keep telling us that we must dumb down everything to the lowest denominator possible and become apes. That is not true at all.

It's probably true if you want to reach beyond a niche of 5% though

Markdown is a great example, last time I used WhatsApp it supportet markdown for *inverse* text iirc, although there was no button or interface for it at that time (or I missed that).

So basicly you can build a lot of things even in the most Normie-friendly apps without shying anyone away - they have irc-style things in them which is really old, what can we expect from nostr?
