I’m curious where you get the anon set comparison? And have you used cashu?

Rough estimate. If you take the capacity of the three major coinjoin protocols and LN and compare them to Monero market cap it is something like ~15%.

Not to mention willing to wager there is more KYC Bitcoin because practically every CEX has it, while Monero is largely delisted aside from a few options.

Yes, Cashu/Fedimint is an improvement on custodial, but it is still custodial. Imo that is against a major pillar of Bitcoin to begin with.

Can you link to sources for the coin join capacity and LN? I don’t fully see the equation in my head but for some reason it feels like they shouldn’t be compared to the Monero market cap.

Think about it,

You can just acquire Bitcoin that isn't tied to your identity and just spend it or withdraw it at an ATM into a local fiat.

Monero, you're relying on having a good way to acquire & then you need a good way to withdraw it into a local fiat as spending it directly is unlikely.

No need to even look at CJ or any sort of address blinding to have this comparison.
