Been using a weighted blanket for 6 months and I certainly prefer it. But does it actually improve sleep quality?
Currently doing A/B tests to try to quantify the effects.

Proof of weight
How does work with ankles? I can't have heavy stuff over my feet bc I turn over a bunch.
I turn frequently and haven't had problems.
I find a weighted blanket by itself is too warm and hurts my sleep. Combined with a bed chiller to keep me cool is where it really shines.
Iβm a fan
I am a very picky sleeper. We have a 40lb weighted blanket for the king sized that definitely improves my sleep. I have to fold up the bottom because I'm duck footed and my knees can't take the pressure of the blanket flatening my feet.
Also we run the air filter for the white noise and I use an eye mask with Bluetooth to listen to the sleep with me podcast. Knocks me out in 10 minutes flat even on days where my mind is racing.
Only upgrade I would make would be one of those cooling/heating mattress covers.
I sleep on the floor and the matress is on top of me.
I enjoy it
But I think that may be all there is to it
And Iβm okay with that
Iβve been wondering too, since Iβve used one over one year with varying results.
I think you have to sleep on the side to have the best experience, as sleeping on your back with the weighted blanket increases snoring a lot for me.
