Over the years it's been disheartening to see all the efficiencies created by technological advances not resulting in economic benefits to the general public. Households now have to work more jobs just to make ends meet and housing and education gets increasingly out of reach. The siphoning away of wealth has become ridiculous.

The natural course of technology is to get better, more productive, & more efficient.
In a sound money world, this would mean everything is always more affordable.
