I think a “retweet” or “repost” should be called “noted” in the form of an acknowledgement.

I was really counting on rexeet.

I only now know what “boosts” meant.

“Repost” makes sense AND offers the added value of opening the door to jokes and puns with “riposte.” Allow me to riposte in my repost.
