thank you! dropped by 7 GB, still says my documents and data for damus are almost 30 GB 👀
Wow that’s massive lol. I don’t understand why it’s takes so much space. It’s the biggest space hog on my phone by far and I do have quite a few other nostr apps, none of them require anywhere near that much storage 🤔

Mine gets pretty large in storage, up to 30gb often, but still have plenty of memory and doesn't seem to affect performance. Clearing my cache only usually gets me down to like 20
Yeah my phone is somewhat low on storage space so whenever Damus gets over 8GB or so it bogs everything down like crazy. I wish I could set a max Cache Size or else have the app auto clean old cache entires. I mean anything over 24 hours seems stale anyway 🤷♀️
Damus is the biggest space hog by far and it’s not even close.
I had to switch to Primal on iOS because as much as I love the Damus UI/UX it was a battery burner!!!
Yeah, that too! But I’m most often using it on the morning with my coffee while tethered to a wall outlet 😆
Never been a fan of Primal though, lately Nostur or YakiHonne (terrible name btw) are getting more use because of the Damus issues.
No i do it on amethyst like 3 times a day hahaha
