Granted, I don’t have a boat nor much interest in one. But I’d definitely like to recreate this setup in a terrestrial setting.
We have around 1300 watts of solar that charge a 400Ah bank of 24 volt lithium batteries.
This powers not only our node but also our fridge, freezer and onboard electronics.
To run a node you’d probably get away with 500 watts and a 100Ah AGM battery, which is around $400 worth of gear and even cheaper 2nd hand.
