My fellow progressives/democrats in the US are leaving me exhausted with their ignorance, incompetence, and hardline stances on bitcoin, energy FUD, and the like.

I care so damn much because I want to increase bitcoin adoption. There have historically been more folks on the right getting into bitcoin, so many don’t care if democrats are bumbling idiots on the topic. We need more folks from the left to just be presented with truth and data, that’s all I’m asking. Not lies and FUD.

But we march on, day-in and day-out, because I think bitcoin can help a lot of people, our planet, and our nation-states. I believe it will happen. Few.

Why politics has any involvement in Bitcoin is beyond me. We support it because it has value to all people, not just one specific group or agenda.

I would say bitcoin is political due to its freedom promoting design.

We might be using different verbage then. When I say politics I internally mean political party. What you call political I think of as anti establishment.

To me anything associated with the term politics is based on a game of relationships and word smithing, and nothing productive or value driven.

I hate that in my world (technology) 'building relationships' has more of an impact on getting things done than the results of the work themselves.
