Why politics has any involvement in Bitcoin is beyond me. We support it because it has value to all people, not just one specific group or agenda.
Discussion
I would say bitcoin is political due to its freedom promoting design.
We might be using different verbage then. When I say politics I internally mean political party. What you call political I think of as anti establishment.
To me anything associated with the term politics is based on a game of relationships and word smithing, and nothing productive or value driven.
I hate that in my world (technology) 'building relationships' has more of an impact on getting things done than the results of the work themselves.
