Yes, but...

I do see the point of others objecting to a person they think as being too young given that there is a lot of raunchy and gross stuff that you can stumble upon and much of that is inappropriate even for a very mature youngster.

But that's up to a parent.

I don't see the point of people objecting to stuff that is none of their business, and to which they are ignorant of.

I think more people need to speak out in terms of protecting children, as that's been lacking the past few decades.

Well, that was the state of the internet in its "golden age" (1995 - ~2010), sooo... well, I think I can say the generation who witnessed that time as kids / teenagers grew up through it, perhaps a bit faster than otherwise, but most turned out just fine

That's a fair point, though things were a lot slower back then.

I had a C-band satellite dish, (along with finding a stack of dirty magazines in our pump house) 🤣.

Getting access to everything broadcasted across the US was plenty fast enough for me to stumble upon Clockwork Orange when I was in primary school. 🤷🏻‍♂️
