So lately Iâm thinking about having for summer tattoo and I definitely want to represent so what about if I do it in the most insane pain on your foot
Discussion
Just elevate the foot after, donât make plans to go do stuff after the tattoo. (I learned this the hard way)
Better yet, donât get tattoos.
Theyâre trashy.
Bad take
Thereâs always one
How so?
Tattoos are a form of expression and art. Taste is obviously subjective, but I don't think they're trashy
Someone always has to say they are, which is akin to having to say they donât like something someone else likes, like the whole âpineapple on pizza argument.â
No one cares.
Itâs strange behavior to me when someone feels the need to bag on something others like.
Let others enjoy things đ¤ˇââď¸ it says more about the complainer, honestly. And they want a tattoo deep down inside đ
If you saw your friend masochistically cutting themselves would you speak up? Or would you let them enjoy themselves?
Are you equating tattoos to masochism?
They are very different things actually. Tattoos are bad because they are trashy, shallow, and poor taste, whereas injuries are bad because the health and integrity of our bodies are important. However, liking tattoos and liking self injury are both similar in that they are both cases of liking something bad. Would you speak up if someone was enjoying something bad for them?
This is a hilarious take and I canât even take it seriously đ¤Ł
I sincerely hope something good happens for you today because you seem like you need it! đđť
Bless your heart.
Retard justifying her retarded life choices.
Youâre proving once again why women shouldnât be allowed to vote.
I have to give you your proper respect; your reply is beautifully dismissive and condescending. I would probably turn in my username if I wasn't so shameless. However, although you say all this stuff about how you feel sorry for me and can't take my statement's seriously, you haven't actually said I'm wrong. Can you articulate any problem with what I've said?
Sure.
If by âexpressionâ you mean a short term design that is permeant on a body with an ever changing mind.
Then yes.
If you mean âart,â as in a flower tramp stamp void of any deep meaning only conveying the short term mindset of the wearer.
Then also yes.
So it's subjective
Art isn't subjective. You are just bad at defending your interpretation of artwork.
Do you agree that art is an expression of creativity via a medium to elicit an emotional response?
No.
âThatâs trashyâ is an emotional response but the trigger certainly isnât âart,â by any means.
Hmm, I don't think so. I do believe that art is expression, but there isn't necessarily any creativity involved. For example, you can express something that you observed directly, or that someone else communicated to you. I don't think creativity is required for the actual expression itself. A ton of art is incredibly formulaic, especially the better someone understands the medium the more diverse and interesting they can make their art without having to exercise any personal creativity.
I also don't think eliciting an emotional response is the goal of art. Like, yeah, if you do a good job of communicating "wow, this thing here really sucks" then you can make your audience feel sad, or if you do a really good job of communicating an interesting idea then your audience might be surprised or impressed. But fundamentally I believe that it's about communication.
Do you have any other questions for me? What do you think?
Donât
1st tattoo? If you do it on your foot at least pretty much your future tattoos will be less painful đ
Do it! Pain is temporary.
