Agreed.
I'm trying not to judge people's reason for their comfort. For some it's genuine, for others they may be scared or haven't felt it worth the bother idk. I have family members that will probably die without leaving the handful of states they grew up in. Those same people have lived in the same 2 square miles their whole life, including the generations before them. The flip side, is there is often a pressure to "see things before you die" not a genuine interest in travel. Idk I'm not a touristy person, I enjoy seeing those things but I'm like, yeah that's neat, back to work. On my second trip, I lived in Alaska for a couple months and honestly never really traveled past 60 miles outside of anchorage. Just didn't interest me, I was enjoying my time working. But I also never grew up around those who had an interest in travel or seeing things.
