An observation of anger in a paradoxical society:

If anger rules the inner world, there is no true sovereignty. Anger controls. Anger divides. Anger feeds the victim loop. Anger justifies injustices.

Anger can be a channeled as a tool for motivation to change the self โ€” until outgrowing it. Anger is not a tool to be ruled and controlled by. It is not a tool to be used to attempt to control others.

At some point anger serves no purpose. It only causes ailments (cancer, chronic disease, mental health issues, etc), resentments (victim mentality), and perpetuates trauma (hurt people hurt people until healed).

We are powerful beings. We are not tools of an emotion. We control our reactions. We control our reality. We control our minds and our bodies.

Free the self from illusions of this parasitic control mechanism. Do not bypass this teacher. Feel it. Love it. Transmute it. Thank it. Free it.

Thank you anger for being an incredible teacher. You have no role any longer. You are merely a curiosity when witnessed โ€” mirroring what needs to be freed.

Life is a glorious ride with so much potential. Nature heals. Allow it.

True sovereignty is quite the responsibility.

Interesting - I've not explored anger too deeply but it feels like it often originates from fear.

There's also an anger that appears while filled with love & in flow. It so rarely occurs & dissipates so quickly, that I find it difficult study or judge.

On the outside it appears as regular anger, indistinguishable from anger originating from fear. Internally it feels lighter, almost playful but the pain it causes externally is very real. A wise observer might describe it at was righteous anger.

Ephesians 4:26-27

Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity

Fear is a common origination. Can come from other things as well. Unexpressed grief. Trauma. Etc.

I believe anger is the root of a lot of chronic disease. Itโ€™s also very addictive and an easy emotion to manipulate. Politics do this very well.

Makes the divide and conquer much easier. War creates trauma that divides further from the truth that we are one.

Quite the tool. For me, better to feel it, get to root, and transmute.

Resisting or suppressing your feelings is never advisable. Experiencing your feelings & allowing them to flow through you is important.

I'm going to play with 'Anger as a tool'.

Important to feel it. Not saying to suppress it. But also important to get to the rootโ€ฆ which isnโ€™t always obvious. The root is what releases its grip.

I doubt anger is an emotion that you have much choice in having. However I think it's pretty easy to deny you are angry. Most people go through their whole lives thinking they are in control of their emotions, when in fact they ignore their them, and therefore it's not really clear what is making the decisions.

I personally learnt to see the hidden anger, that way I can consciously decide what action to take, as opposed to the emotion unconsciously deciding for me.

I see anger as being about action, driving you to meet an unmet need, whether that be love, safety, respect, etc. It's a great tool to actually identify what needs/values are important too you.

Anger is a signal of something underlying that (for me at least) needed healing or understanding. So yes, agree.
