I had different pads in my lifetime and none of them worked. Ended up with this one for around $10 with a super nice case that does 90% pf the job.
Regarding Cleanshot I can’t imagine what group is it aimed for. For devs standard screenshot is more than enough
For designers and creators they know how to use much powerful tools. Also screenshotting does not sound like a task for $2 per month 
I had the exact same design you showed in your reply. It won’t do this. I’m 6’2” and now I’m no longer hunching over. 
Mine is pretty old. i’m sure soon enough new ones will appear to cover such sizes and they will still cost around $2-$3
Different people different priorities, but I buy Apple to save money and it works great for a decade or so. I can’t justify paying $90 for a laptop stand in 2023 even though I buy much more expensive devices
Maybe I just have different use-cases and/or habits but I think its important to share with others that its not a necessity to buy an overpriced goods just because you are using Apple :)
Btw, for a long time I’m looking at https://ascrono.com/products/macbook-pro-vertical-dock-m1-16inch (or similar) and still thinking could it worth it
