With a long enough time horizon you can accomplish pretty much anything.

Imposing a time limit on success diminishes your odds significantly.

Also, anything worthwhile in life takes time, so you better enjoy the process.

Start with passion. Listen to your heart, not your ego.

Just my two sats. Some positive self-talk reminding yourself you’re on the right path never hurts.

That's the attitude I apply for my goal to homeschool my daughter against the will and opinion of virtually everyone I know.

It will take me 20 years but it will be the greatest achievement of my life bar none.

I love this. Can’t imagine a harder and longer project to take on. You know what’s best for you kid and I respect disregarding the opinions of the herd. I’m sure I’ll face this same challenge one day

The hardest part of it will be fighting the state.

If I don't get permission to school her, we will have to move somewhere else.

If I do get permission, I still need to teach her some nonsense at a pace and time that will clash with my own schooling ideas just so she can beat certain official mandatory exams.
