Depends what you’re trying to do. I don’t use windows much any more but the snippet tool I believe has a screen record feature. Not sure if it supports audio recording. Probably doesn’t do Picture in Picture either if you need that.

Hmm, looked into it just now, didn’t find the screen recording feature there, only screencaptures 💜

Fascinating that such a simple tool doesn’t come with Windows itself

Maybe you’re on an older version. Should be there in the latest versions according to this.

In all seriousness though, 11 is a good OS. Idk what they were smoking with 8, but I run 11 on several machines, and I’ve had no issues.
