Ok, so with the help of all the folks who replied to my dilemma about coldcard and opsec, i am going to research which devices offer a stateless option. Maybe coldcard does and i just didnt know. Anyway, that setup sounds much less complicated for long term hodling. I think i would be more afraid of forgetting where i hid something. But i can handle several copies of a seed, on metal, and a device that requires the seed to access the bitcoin. Just sounds simpler, and for me, less risky.
