Same not sure, my son has major assessments at school around this period, he would love to go but he won’t let me pull him out of school at all. Hmmm I’m thinking about it..depends on business ect but it’s food for thought right now!

Anywhere in Japan is safe, clean, cheap. The only downside is few speak English.

Tokyo’s big, not sure exactly where the conference will be but I’d assume downtown so for lodging I’d recommend on or inside the Yamanote train line (it’s a loop)
