I’m thinking it does that when you are importing a link, and it doesn’t have a file extension, if that is the case I guess what file it is and default guess is .jpeg..

I run into it when I’m making gifs and it gets converted to a jpeg, you putting in a link for a .gif?

Yes I have had that happen to me too, and normally the link is a lot longer. But I checked and made sure it was in gif format. Maybe it’s just that Nostr and all these clients are still working out little bugs. I’ll be patient.

True, pretty sure I convert webp to jpg since it is not supported in Damus yet.

What’s the file size? That plays into effect I have noticed too.
