Everyday I go to the mailbox and bring the pile of mail to the garbage where I take 90% of the days mail and put it directly into the trash. What a terrible waste of energy for everyone involved in the process. ✉️🗑️🚮

It really should be made much more expensive for them to speak spam imho.
It's always the same things too.
In Switzerland you can add a „please no advertisement“ sticker on the mailbox. The regular mail wont give you any more. But you still get some local free newspapers.
What about the political shillings?

Yeah I think those are fine. Honestly it must be only country that works, some EU countries that I’ve been they will dump anything, same guys putting 5 different catalogs from 5 different supermarkets at the same time.
Woow haha, well sometimes I have flyers of some pizza deliveries but mostly its not that bad. And yeah I like switzerland. But no country is perfect.

To stop receiving unaddressed mail and advertising circulars at your home, you can paint or place a “no junk mail” sign (or similar) onto, or next to, your mailbox.
Other signs you can use include:
“Addressed mail only”
“Addressed Mail and Newspapers Only”
“No junk mail, no circulars”
