Attempting the App Store application process and it's going well so far. The form to create a new Apple ID currently is failing with a vague error until I upgrade my operating system.

Classic. I'm sure that upgrade pipeline will end in a payment to Apple somewhere along the way, either via Developer accounts or mandated new hardware requirements
I'd be happy if I could just pay $100 and be done with it
They won't be THAT overt with the tithe. 1. Because they're pretending it's not a tithe. 2. Because the humiliation is part of the process.
What client did you use to send this note? It's quite strange
It was either amethyst or gossip. This one is from gossip.
What's strange about it?
...now that I think about it, the last one you asked about was probably from amethyst.
Nevermind, I'm just losing my mind. Although nostr:nprofile1qyfhwumn8ghj7mmxve3ksctfdch8qatz9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshszgrhwden5te0dehhxarj9ejkjmn4dej85ampdeaxjeewwdcxzcm99uqjqamnwvaz7tmrdphhyatn9ekkj6m9v35kcem9wghxxmmd8g6rgdp0qyf8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68yat99e3k7mf0qqswuyd9ml6qcxd92h6pleptfrcqucvvjy39vg4wx7mv9wm8kakyujgzhv6n0 there aren't any relay or pubkey hints
Aren't we all.
We're already pretty far gone to be on nostr.
Interesting. What version of gossip nostr:npub19ma2w9dmk3kat0nt0k5dwuqzvmg3va9ezwup0zkakhpwv0vcwvcsg8axkl ? I'm going to look at my note as soon as I post this too.

New enough. I'll have to spend some time figuring that one out.
I really don't get, why so many of the developpers of one of the most decentralised apps/protocolls rely on the most centralized service ever, namely apple app store.
If there where at least still easy jailbreaks available to ditch the centralized app store.
I just don't get it.
Because that's where the users are. I had my target pilot customer tell me that if Flotilla isn't on iphone, no one will use it. You have to make compromises to get somewhere. Maybe someday everyone will use Android. No, wait, maybe someday everyone will use Graphene. Wait, no...
I appreciate your answer.
It's not about google or Android or MS or whatever.
It's about "does it have a single point of failure/censorship/central instance.
Imagine a windows PC that ONLY allows installs from one conpany-controlled appstore AND no app on the appstore is allowed to be a third-party appstore (like for example steam is - an appstore for games)
Litterally NOBODY, not even the biggest retard, would use that when not forced to.
Print a picture of an apple on it, and they LOVE it.
