I expect young generation just lay down and stop following useless advice. And the generations who simply give such awful advice continue losing their shares.

Well most probably the next generation, our children, will just start doing useful stuff again, like repair cars, doing practical engineering, cleaning and so on... And you will pay for all till your last dime because hoping to turn rich doing nothing didn't work so well. Your generation is poor because you have zero abilities to sell. That's why I never searched for a job my entire life and my properties are worth 10 times what I paid for because I fixed them by myself accumulating value. I am sorry... Reality is harsh
Reality is harsh for everyone including you. You just not realizing it. Good for you your investment worked out and I feel happy for you. It is laughable however you believe that’s because you fixed it. Every good home owner maintains their house no matter in housing boom or bust. Not every one of them made money though. Wait to see what worked before not working anymore and that’s the point of my original note.
You think everybody else is stupid. That is your problem. Entitlement. We move and adapt. We will continue moving and adapting based on places society and who we have around.
About the laughable I am sorry for your probably you don't even know what I am speaking about. We didn't mantains. We bought for 1/4 the market price because there were fixes to be done that regular people know nothing about and after fixing, changing walls position, redoing floors, piping,.electrical system, doors it's value went up 400% but instead of selling we rented without help from agencies and in 10 years we got what we would have sold for. Fixing a bit now again and my children will never have to work in their life. That how is done,.not hoping that a magic investment will make you rich.
Never thought about everyone else being stupid. If my interpretation made mistakes I am willing to apologize. Speaking about entitlement we are on the same page my friend. Again glad your investment (or flipping if you insist on precise description) worked for you.
