I haven't noticed any problems at all, and the only Russian relay adre.su uses a Soviet Union domain 😅 (yes, this zone still exists)

Out of curiosity, how would one go about registering for an SU domain?

Because adre.su is адресу - "to address". But in general, .su is usually registered by individuals for all sorts of dark stuff 😅
I just learned that .dd also used to be a thing, but sadly the TLD was revoked or discontinued. What a shame!
