it sounded legit. he seemed gentle, kind.
i sent some euros, part of it was meant for my grandma’s meds.
then silence. gone.
i guess i trusted too easily.
it’s not even the bitcoin that stings.
it’s how quiet people get after they’ve taken something from you.
like you were the only one who thought it mattered.
just needed to let it out.
still embarrassed i posted that.
not everything’s a lesson, but i’m learning anyway.
